If you haven’t heard or seen the video of the homeless guy with the incredible radio voice which was posted on YouTube on January 3 you have to check it out.  This guy is insane – he sounds incredible and he’s just a random dude living on the streets.  Anyway, a passing motorist realized how awesome the voice was and filmed the homeless man (Tim Williams) and posted it online and ever since then Tim has been an instant celebrity appearing on TV, fielding media inquiries, and has already landed a job and countless voiceover requests.  To read more on the story of the homeless guy with an amazing radio voice click through to IB and then on to the actual video.

A while back I was doing a good number of articles on file cabinets and I whipped up a good ten to twelve file cabinet related articles for InfoBarrel.  I’ve shared a few links to some of those articles before but in the busy life I lead I never got around to posting links to the file cabinet part series that I did late in the campaign.

Some of my later articles had to do more with the parts to file cabinets like file cabinet locking bars, file cabinet casters, and filing cabinet parts and accessories in general.  These articles were published some time ago but they are decent and worth remembering.

In the future I may do some more articles about the different file cabinet manufacturers but that is a task and project I’m not yet ready to commit to.  I just have too many other things on my plate right now.

It is truly amazing how many different kinds of drawer handles and knobs there are.  A while back I wrote a little bit regarding the many different articles and types of decorative cabinet hardware that I have been learning about and writing about but I didn’t even talk about them all.  Just as there are different types of expensive door knobs like crystal door knobs and discount door knobs, there are also many different kinds of handles for drawers and cabinets such as bedroom dresser handles, brass drawer handles, and antique drawer handles much of which is not actually antique at all but designed to look antique instead.  And for basic drawer pulls there are expensive crystal door knobs, cheap wooden drawer pulls, and shaped star drawer pulls.  All of these different types of drawer handles can come in any type of metal but one of my favorites I’ve found is aged bronze.  Aged bronze cabinet pulls are my favorite and when I take on the task of buying a new set of decorative hardware this will be my choice.

A while back I discussed some of the benefits of buying Tungsten jewelry versus Gold but today I wanted to roundup some of my writings on the various types of racks and stands for various aspects of home décor.  A couple weeks back I did some investigation on various types of magazine racks including wall mount magazine racks, and magazine rack tables.  I also outlined the benefits of using a wine glass stand, a coffee mug tree stand, and a postcard display stand as ways to make your home look great and function more efficiently.  As it turns out there are actually many other kinds of racks and stands around the house that make things easier on homeowners too like coat rack stands and portable clothes racks as well as many other specialty pieces of home furnishings.  Anyway, my appetite for learning about these products and writing about them really opened my eyes and I thought maybe my wife and should think about what kinds of racks could make our home work a little more efficiently.

Most people put all their kitchen plates in the kitchen cabinets and stack them on top of each other however I began searching for other kinds of kitchen plate rack storage ideas and found that you can get stand alone wall mounted plate racks from various specialty home furnishing stores which allow you to pull your plates out of the general cabinet and into a dedicated storage area which can make them more accessible and keep them more safe from chipping and cracking.

Most are wooden plate racks but some are metal.  There are also different types of paper plate holders for your disposable plates.  So if you are looking to get a wall plate rack for your kitchen you may want to spend a little more time shopping around for the right piece as there are many different styles and price points to choose from.

And while you are reading this you may also want to check in on my previous post on baby girl clothes.  This has little to do with plate racks and stands but is helpful nonetheless.

One thing I’ve learned through recent blogging and content publishing is that getting your articles indexed and ranked with higher authority is key to making good money online.  There are a number of ways to do this including just waiting for it to happen, publishing a lot of content on the same site and interlinking it all together, or building backlinks but one simple way to do this is to build up a lot of authority to pages which automatically send backlinks or internal links to everything you publish.

For instance if you have a profile page it usually links directly to everything you publish without you having to do anything.  If your profile page is highly authoritative then the links it sends to every newly published article will be stronger as well.  Similarly if you can set up other pages online which also link to every published article you make automatically then you should build the authority of that page up as well.

Feedage makes this easy, My Feedage page gives a quality dofollow backlink to every InfoBarrel article I publish and it helps them all out very well.  A friend of mine is doing the same thing.  If you want your articles to rank better right out of the box you should consider using Feedage in your internet marketing campaign.

I think everyone has a hall tree coat rack and most people are probably familiar with them even if they’ve never owned one or even lived with one in the house.  Standing coat racks are generally the most typical coat racks that families keep in the house however other types are just as good.  A simple coat rack with shelf hung on the wall can be really nice because they keep more open floor space which can be valuable to you.  You can also go in the other direction and have an iron coat rack tree which takes up floor space but in a more decorative way.  With even more emphasis on decorative styling bench seats attached to your coat rack stand can make the entire piece of furniture even more functional.

In my research and analysis of the various types of racks and stand I’ve found that a wooden or metal coat rack can be either stood up or wall mounted and could have various accessories such as an umbrella, storage bench, or accessory shelf.  Benches will use coat hooks whereas standing racks will use pegs.  I also happened to do some research on other similar products like a rolling coat rack and a cowboy hat rack which obviously cater to unique people with unique needs.

One of the recent projects I’ve been working on lately, which is why I haven’t been here on this blog in a while is a selection of projects on the topic of clothes hangers I’ve been working on.  In my research I found that there are an amazing variety in the different kinds of clothes hangers your can buy.  There are small baby clothes hangers, large oversized clothes hangers, slim non slip hangers like the Joy Mangano Huggable Hangers, and many other specific types.  

I always thought of there being your basic wire hangers, cheap black plastic hangers, cheap white plastic hangers, and then many different kinds of wooden hangers which were sold in different types of woods.  Basically I saw cheap plastic clothing hangers as an option and then different types of wooden hangers as an upgradable option however now I know that there is a specific type of hanger designed for basically every type of clothes.
